Close Date: July 18 Eligibility: Class A – not to exceed 14.0. In order to play in any WGAM tournament a player must have a current established GHIN handicap from one of our member clubs. A list of member clubs is on the home page of this website. Also, the player must have posted 8 eighteen hole scores to her GHIN handicap in the 12 months prior to the revision date of the tournament. Revision Date: July 15 Format: Day 1 – 18-hole stroke play qualifying for 2 flights (32 each flight). Amateur Championship & Presidents’ Cup – Tie for 32nd position in Amateur Flight necessitates sudden-death playoff. All other ties will be decided by match of cards in accordance with USGA recommended method. All matches to be played at scratch to completion. Entry Fee: $150.00 per player Includes: Cart and lunch for Day 1 only. Range balls included for all four days. Awards: Permanent trophies engraved with names of winners. Prizes and gift certificates. All ties decided by match of cards in accordance with USGA recommended method: medalist, low net qualifier and qualifying seeds. Additional Info: Walking/carrying permitted; no rebate for cart fee on Day 1. Days 2-4 lunch available for purchase. Pull carts are allowed. Cart fees for Days 2-4 collected in Pro Shop ($30.00 pp/per day; cash only). Make arrangements for Host Club caddie by calling the pro shop at 978-468-4433 at least one week prior to the tournament. Pairings for day 1 determined by handicap index.
Players in Championship flight may earn points towards the WGAM Player of the Year.
