Entries open at 7:00 AM on April 3, 2017 and end at 11:59 PM on the close date. Players will be accepted by index -low to high. This is not a first come; first served tournament. Close Date: June 5 Eligibility: Classes A & B (not to exceed 18.0) In order to play in any WGAM tournament a player must have a current established GHIN handicap from one of our member clubs. A list of member clubs is on the home page of this website. Also, the player must have posted 8 eighteen hole scores to her GHIN handicap in the 12 months prior to the revision date of the tournament. Revision Date: June 1, 2017 Format: 36-hole stroke play – 18 holes each day. Tie for low gross necessitates a sudden-death playoff. Competitors’ scores at the end of 18 holes will determine computer-generated pairings for the second day. Special requests for pairings will NOT be honored. Two tees: Championship Tees – ~5900 yards. Tournament Tees – ~5400 yards. Entry Fee: $210.00 per player Includes: Includes lunch, carts & range balls both days and dinner on Day 1. Awards: Tie for low gross in either flight afer 36 holes necessitates a sudden-death play off. Permanent Trophies engraved with low gross winners’ names. The Baker bracelet has been retired to the Golf House Museum. Commemorative bracelets will be given to the winners of both flights. Prize certificates. Additional Info: Additional guests are welcome to dinner for a fee. Please notify the WGAM office by June 7, 2017 if you plan to bring a guest to dinner. The Host Club will allow players to walk using their own caddie. No refund of cart fees which are included in entry fee. Pace of Play must be maintained.
Competitors playing from Championship tees may earn points towards the WGAM Player of the Year.
