Founded in 1900, the Women's Golf Association of Massachusetts is one of the oldest state women's golf association in the United States.

The WGAM currently serves over 2000 individual members who belong to more than 180 member clubs. Each year the WGAM sponsors twenty-four amateur tournaments in addition to an active junior golf program open to any girl residing in Massachusetts.

As an official representative of the United States Golf Association, the WGAM works to preserve the traditions of golf by providing information on handicapping, the USGA Rules of Golf and tournament administration.

The Women's Golf Association of Boston was formed to promote interest in women's golf. Over the 100 years since then, many things have changed but the mission of the organization remains the same.


Keyes Cup
Congratulations Tara! Tara Joy Connelly is the 2008 Grace Keyes Cup winner with a total score of 149 (72,77). Tara is also our Mid-Amateur Winner.
2008 USGA Women's World Amateur USA Team
Congratulations Alison! Alison Walshe has been selected to play for the USGA World Team. To be played Oct. 8-11 at the Grange Golf Club's East/West Courses in Adelaide, Australia.
